Motor bearing is a special bearing specially applied to motor or motor. The bearing used by the motor is a part supporting the shaft. It can guide the rotation of the shaft and also bear the idling parts on the shaft. The concept of bearing is very broad. There are four types of bearings commonly used in motor, namely rolling bearing, sliding bearing, spherical plain bearing and oil bearing. The most common motor bearing is rolling bearing, that is, bearing with rolling element. Sliding bearings generally refer to bearings without rolling elements, that is, bearings for sliding motion, some of which are boundary lubricants
Motor bearings use smooth metal balls or rollers and lubricated inner and outer metal surfaces to reduce friction. These balls or rollers "carry" the load, supporting the motor spindle, so that the motor (rotor) can rotate smoothly.
Rolling bearings are widely used in small and medium-sized motors. Large and medium-sized motors also use rolling bearings. Bearing at both ends of small motor
Adopt ball bearing (deep groove ball bearing). Medium sized motor adopts roller bearing at the load end (generally used for high load condition), and ball bearing at the non load end (but there are opposite cases, such as 1050kw motor). Rolling bearings are lubricated with grease, but they are also lubricated with lubricating oil.

Whether the motor bearing is installed or not will directly affect the accuracy, life and performance of the bearing. Therefore, please fully study the bearing installation, that is, please install the bearing according to the operation standard including the following items.
Clean the bearings and related parts. (for grease lubricated bearings and double sides with oil seals or dust covers, it is not necessary to clean the sealing ring bearings before installation.)
Check the size and finishing of relevant parts
The installation of the bearing shall be determined according to the bearing structure, size and the matching nature of the bearing components. The pressure shall be directly applied on the end face of the tight fitting ring, and the pressure shall not be transmitted through the rolling element. The following methods are generally adopted for the installation of the bearing:
a. Press fit
When the inner ring of the bearing is tightly matched with the shaft and the outer ring is loosely matched with the bearing seat hole, the bearing can be pressed onto the shaft with a press, and then the shaft and the bearing can be installed into the bearing seat hole together. When pressing, an assembly sleeve (copper or mild steel) made of soft metal material is padded on the end face of the bearing inner ring.
When the outer ring of the bearing fits tightly with the bearing seat hole, and the inner ring fits loosely with the shaft, the bearing can be pressed into the bearing seat hole first. At this time, the outer diameter of the assembly sleeve should be slightly smaller than the diameter of the seat hole.
If the bearing ring is tightly matched with the shaft and seat hole, the inner ring and outer ring in the installation chamber should be pressed into the shaft and seat hole at the same time. The structure of the assembly sleeve should be able to press the end faces of the inner ring and outer ring of the bearing at the same time.
b. Heating coordination
By heating the bearing or bearing seat, the tight fit is changed into loose fit by thermal expansion. It is a common and labor-saving installation method. This method is suitable for the installation of bearings with large interference. Before hot installation, put the rings of bearings or separable bearings into the oil tank and evenly heat them for 80-100 ℃. Then take them out of the oil and install them on the shaft as soon as possible. In order to prevent the end face of inner ring and shaft shoulder from not fitting tightly after cooling, the bearings can be tightened axially after cooling. When the outer ring of the bearing is tightly matched with the bearing seat made of light metal, the hot assembly method of heating the bearing seat can avoid the abrasion of the matching surface.
When the oil tank is used to heat the bearing, there should be a grid at a certain distance from the bottom of the box, or the bearing should be hung with a hook. The bearing should not be placed on the bottom of the box to prevent impurities from entering the bearing or uneven heating. There must be a thermometer in the oil tank, and the oil temperature should not exceed 100 ℃ to prevent tempering effect and reduce the hardness of the ring.
